The museum at Gosport Museum and Art Gallery was created by the community for the community and shines a spotlight on the town's rich heritage and social history. There is a wide range of activities and events for everyone to enjoy.

Alongside exhibitions that showcase the very best of local and national art, we run a programme of talks, workshops, events and hands-on activities. Gosport Museum showcases the town's rich heritage, while the café offers a selection of locally-sourced food, drinks and light refreshments. What is the nature of your enquiry?
  • Last week was my 5th visit to this Gallery. These visits always coincide with a random journey from Brighton and no exhibition has been disappointing. The staff are always helpful and informative. The recent MARVELLOUS MECHANICALS exhibition of mechanical machines- closer to mechanical theatre and cabaret, is informative, entertaining and interactive where you can use a pencil to make each of the exhibits work. As with all the exhibitions here, the exhibits are well spaced out.
I should have written this review years ago!
